Hawaiian Meat Balls


1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey

1/3 cup chopped onion

1/3 cup whole milk

1 1/2 tsp. salt

2/3 cup bread crumbs

1 egg

1/2 tsp. ginger

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Blend all ingredients and shape into meat balls. Place on a foiled covered baking sheet and bake in oven until cooked fully through.


2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/3 cup vinegar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1- 13oz. can pineapple chunks, drained and reserve juice.

1/3 cup red bell pepper, sliced

Mix cornstarch and brown sugar. Stir in reserved pineapple juice, vinegar, and soy sauce until smooth. Pour into skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil and is thickened. Boil and stir 1 minute, add cooked meat balls and pineapple chunks. Heat through, then add red bell pepper. Cook until pepper is crisp tender.
