  1. Hey Maggie! I was wondering if you could help us out. Over here at Nikitaland, we help the APL once a year to collect donations for their annual fundraiser. If you, or others would like to help those animals who need our help, the abused and neglected ones you see all the time, consider making a donation today. All donations do matter….no matter what the donation amount, as it all adds up. Here is the link: http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/nikitaland/2013-doggy-dollars-kitty-kash

We appreciate all the help we can get to raise donations for this great cause at the APL. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

      • Thank you so much! We can’t even watch the news anymore lately without seeing a horrible news story on what people do to animals. It is so sad. We know that the APL helps more than 17,000 animals in a year and they don’t turn any away. Our dogs, Nikita and Bella were rescued by the APL and they now have a great “forever home” with us. They are the best dogs ever!

  2. What would be your best guess as to how long asparagus would take to roast in an electric oven? Never having roasted asparagus before, I have no idea whether it would be 5 or 15 minutes at moderate heat. Thanks for your help.
    Great recipe.
