1 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar plus extra to roll dough balls in
1 cup Nutella -chocolate hazelnut spread, plus extra for the filling
1/2 cup toasted chopped hazelnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment.
Combine the egg , Nutella and sugar until fluffy. Add flour and combine well. Make 24 dough balls using a small ice cream scoop. Roll the dough balls in sugar and place on 2 lined baking sheets. Using a glass gently press down each cookie. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Do not over bake. Allow to cool on baking sheets. When cool spread Nutella on half the cookies and sandwich together. Roll edges in toasted chopped hazelnuts.
